The MARTINI Museum opened in 1961 in celebration of the Italian
unification. The beautiful 18th century cellars in Pessione which were chosen as
the ideal location for the museum, include Egyptian amphorae, roman
glassware, beautifully carved grape harvest carts and wine presses.
The concept behind the creation of the exhibit is to guide visitors through a history of wine making spanning two millennia whilst showcasing the
MARTINI production process.
